I am employed full-time as the Director of the Adams Center for Teaching and Learning. In my opinion, there is no finer organization to work for or better people to work with than those in the Adams Center and at ACU. I am constantly challenged to grow professionally and presented with unique challenges each day.
I'm also privileged to teach Interactive Media in the ACEJMC accredited Department of Journalism and Mass Communication here at ACU. The JMC department is one of the finest in the nation with numerous awards and commendations. The talent of the students I've had the privilege of working with is truly outstanding and continually reminds me of the function we serve as educators.
I love being outdoors and enjoying God's creation. My wife and I purchased a historically significant small ranch south of Potosi, Texas and someday hope to be able to build a house out there. In the meantime, when I'm not writing, you can usually find me doing chores out at the ranch. My wife often jokes that manual labor is my hobby. I'm not sure if that's the case, but I do love watching the ranch take shape.
I met my wife, Kristen, while we were working on our Masters Degrees here at ACU. She grew up in a close-knit family, so when we didn't move to California, they moved here. We have one daughter, Carrie Ann, is an absolutely wonderful child and true gift from God.
